Feature & Follow Friday #22: Changing reading tastes

Alison Can Read Feature & Follow

Feature and Follow Friday is a meme hosted by Parajunkee & Alison Can Read

General rules to Feature & Follow Friday:

1. Follow the Follow My Book Blog Friday Hosts and any one else you want to follow on the list
2. Follow our Featured Bloggers (This week is Fathomless Reveries)
3. Follow Follow Follow as many as you can, as many as you want, or just follow a few. The whole point is to make new friends and find new blogs. Also, don't just follow, comment and say hi. Another blogger might not know you are a new follower if you don't say "HI"

4. If someone comments and says they are following you, be a dear and follow back. Spread the Love...and the followers

This Week's Question:

How have your reading habits changed in the past few years? Did you get interested in a new genre? Do you read more? Less? Why do you think your habits changed, if they did.

My reading tastes changed a lot in the past few years.
Initially, I was into the books on the "teen" shelf of the bookstore, the likes of which became the YA novels now, I suppose, with a bit less drama. Then in the summer of 2012 I had my first taste of historical romance and was hooked every since, to the point of finishing a book a night (literally) for my entire school year after that. So definitely reading more, much more. That also took a toll on my sleep. lol

I also began reading manga back in 2006, and still read now, but to a lesser amount. But overall I've still managed to read/complete almost 2000 mangas from then to now. :)
I would love followers on GFC, email,  NetworkedBlogs and ->Follow on Bloglovin

  1. I lurve me some HR. I stopped reading YA books when I was a teen for the most part and only started getting back into it since I started blogging. I would read a couple here and there but was way into action adventure books for a long time, but I stopped reading that genre for the most part since I joined Goodreads and I really miss it. It's interesting to see how our tastes change.

  2. I don't really read much historical romance but lately it's been more appealing :) Maybe I'll give it a try some time.
