Waiting on Wednesday #12: I Adored a Lord by Katharine Ashe

"Waiting On" Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine, that spotlights upcoming releases that we're eagerly anticipating.

This week an upcoming book I can’t wait to read is…

I Adored a Lord by Katharine Ashe

All that madcap Ravenna Caulfield wants is to stay far away from high society’s mean girls. All that heroic Lord Vitor Courtenay wants is to dash from dangerous adventure to adventure.

But now . . .

Snowbound in a castle with a bevy of the ton’s scheming maidens all competing for a prince’s hand in marriage, Ravenna’s worst nightmare has come true. And playing babysitter to his spoiled prince of a half-brother and potential brides, Vitor is champing at the bit to be gone.

When a stolen kiss leads to a corpse in a suit of armor, a canine kidnapping, and any number of scandalous liaisons, Ravenna and Vitor find themselves wrapped in a mystery they’re perfectly paired to solve. But as for the mysteries of love and sex, Vitor’s not about to let Ravenna escape until he has what he desires . . .

Truth be told, I wanted to feature this book last week, but it didn't have a cover then, and now it does! (And what a gorgeous cover too.) I really, really enjoyed the first in her Prince Catchers series - I Married the Duke, which I reviewed HERE, and am quite looking forward to Ravenna's book. However, it's Eleanor's book that I'm anticipating the most due to her having a similar personality as I. ^_^

Thanks for visiting my blog to see what book I'm waiting for this week! So...what book are you waiting for?

  1. This sounds like my kind of book, great pick!

  2. hi Mary! :) I've only read Kisses, She Wrote but that made me want to read more of Katharine Ashe's books. This next book in the series has so much going out for it, I'm going to add this on my TBR list. And yes, that cover's gorgeous! :)
